Job summary

Sapiens is seeking an experienced Java Application Support professional in Bengaluru to manage and support Java-based applications, ECM deployments, and post‑go‑live services. You will troubleshoot deployment issues, tune performance, and collaborate with clients to resolve technical problems.

The role requires deep knowledge of Java/J2EE stacks, application servers, and incident management, with openness to learn new technologies and work long hours if needed.�

Qualifications

• 8–11 years of experience in supporting Java-based applications.
• Experience in ECM systems (Alfresco, FileNet or Documentum).
• Experience in supporting web apps on Java/J2EE/Spring MVC stack.
• Experience in managing application servers.
• Experience in supporting cloud-based micro services is an added advantage.
• Involved in post go-live support and performance tuning.
• Knowledge of deployment and troubleshooting of Java-based applications in application servers.
• Self-learner and willing to learn other technologies; able to work in application support.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in incident management with ticketing systems.
• Knowledge of DevOps, Jenkins and AWS Cloud.
• Installation and configuration of enterprise application servers; enterprise databases is an added advantage.
• Drive client calls and provide technical support; compile RCA reports.

Mandatory skills/ knowledge:

• Min 8 - 11 years experience in supporting Java based applications.

• Drive client calls/communication and support client services in technical needs. Compile technical RCA (root cause analysis) reports on issues.

Preferred skills and knowledge:

• Oracle BPM / IBM BPM or any BPM engine.
• Weblogic / JBoss / WAS or any Application server.
• OOP concepts, Java, J2EE, JavaScript, JSON data processing.
• Experience in Database tuning activities (DB2, Orable, PostGres, MS SQL)Knowledge of Basic Linux commands
