Job summary

Paytm Payments Services is seeking a field sales leader to grow QR and Soundbox adoption across the Dehradun region. You will build and mentor a sales team, drive distribution through merchant onboarding, and plan market coverage to maximize revenue while traveling extensively in assigned areas.

The role requires a graduate degree, proven team leadership, and a growth mindset with willingness to travel across multiple locations.

Responsibilities

• Grow distribution and market share in the assigned area.
• Drive QR & Soundbox deployment and sales for merchants.
• Identify and recruit the sales team for the market.
• Coach and mentor the team and adapt quickly to new ideas.
• Plan market size, span and geographies for the field sales team.
• Communicate plans/targets to the team to minimize gaps to delivery.
• Monitor quality parameters per management guidelines.
• Validate and audit acquisitions and sales by the team.
• Ensure the team operates in markets where sales and usage occur regularly.
• Travel extensively within the specified area.

About the role:

The person should be capable of increasing the sale of QR & Soundbox through proper channels to the merchants across multiple locations.

Expectations/Requirements:

• Grow Distribution and Market share in the assigned area of operations.
• Visibility Accountability through Extensive QR & Sound box deployment and sale of the product.
• Identify and Recruit the sales team to align and drive business in the market.
• Skilled in coaching and mentoring, a quick learner who grasps and puts into application new learned ideas and concepts.
• Plan the market size, span and geographies for FSE.
• Should be able to devise the best methods for communication of plans/targets to the team so as to minimize the expectations vs delivery gap.
• Monitor the Quality parameters as suggested by the management.
• Validate and conduct the audits on the acquisitions and sales done by the team.
• Ensure the team members are in the market where sales & usage are done regularly.
• Should have good networking capabilities and be willing to travel extensively throughout their specified area.
