Job summary

Bunge Iberica SA seeks an experienced leader to manage operation plans, budget planning, and to develop a Contract Center of Excellence for commodity contracts. You will guide global projects and roll out key initiatives across teams.

Lead complex transition programs under GTE, design optimized organization structures, and ensure contract lifecycle excellence while building SMEs and mitigating risk. Fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• 6–10+ years of work experience in a similar role or with an international commodity company.
• MBA in International Business (advantage).
• Experience handling commodity contracts with GAFTA, FOSFA, PORAM and trade execution and settlement.

Main Accountabilities

• Manage operation plan and work on budget planning for the process.
• Develop a Contract Center of Excellence (COE)—identify key talent and develop them into Commodity Contract experts.
• Lead or participate with comparable influence in large global projects and provide leadership guidance and support to project team members to have a sizable impact on business at an international scale.
• Ensure CI projects and global projects such as IMOS CLM, DocuSign and SENDA are successfully managed, rolled out and implemented in the team for better results and desired outcomes.
• Identify Global Transition Programs under GTE and lead them successfully.
• Design the organization structure with proper resource planning and optimization to meet operational needs.
• Accountable for the performance and results of multiple small teams under Contracts and Settlements and address issues that impact beyond own team based on knowledge of related disciplines.
• Identify and focus on important issues, work with a problem‑solving approach based on acquired expertise to analyse and solve problems with clear precedent.
• Achieve 50% YoY improvement in Net Promoter Score and drive best‑in‑class KPIs.
• Focus on business partnership on operational and performance‑related matters and drive customer satisfaction.
• Run pulse checks, identify problems and areas, and work on tangible business outcomes to deliver value.
• Impart domain knowledge to the team to build a pool of subject‑matter experts (SMEs).
• Review third‑party issued contracts, sales and purchase drafts for new counterparties, ensuring no dollar value impact and Bunge risk mitigated.

Technical

• Relevant experience in handling entry and issuance of commodity contracts for bulk and container shipments of Agri‑commodities, with good knowledge of GAFTA, FOSFA and other contract rules.
• Good knowledge of concepts and procedures related to contract life cycle of commodity contracts (dry and oil), related terms and guidelines, commercial and legal clauses including expertise in Incoterms, logistics, execution and shipping documents, service providers and related services offered by them.
• Ability to work independently, efficiently and deliver high‑quality output under time pressure.
• Experience in managing people, stakeholders and processes through a sustained period of change.
• Prior experience in process transitions and transformation.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in English; knowledge of other foreign languages is an added advantage.
• Computer proficient and competent in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
• Experience working with SAP system.

Education & Experience
