Job summary

Veralto in Bengaluru is seeking a Team Lead to build and guide a team of software and data engineers, blending hands-on development with leadership. You will drive architecture, code reviews, and AI-enabled practices across a global, cross-functional environment.

The role emphasizes team development, agile coaching, and delivering scalable, high-quality software in a modern engineering setting with flexible hybrid work in India and international collaboration.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant work experience in Software Development, ideally in desktop software products.
• 3+ years of experience as Team Leader.
• Several years of proven experience in C/C++.
• Deep knowledge of application architecture, including multithreading and design patterns.
• Solid experience with build systems, including CMake and Visual Studio.
• Proficiency with debugging tools and performance profilers.
• Ability to analyze customer requirements and translate them into formal software specifications.
• Knowledge of color management workflows is a plus.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a global, cross‑functional team, including software engineers, product management, software quality assurance engineers, and application support.
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end software development lifecycle.
• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum and/or Kanban).
• Strong ability to translate requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Willingness to travel (10%)
