Job summary

Perit AI (YC F26) in India is seeking an Indian national with certified Simplified Chinese proficiency to lead and manage the Simplified Chinese transcription and data annotation team. We are looking for an Indian national with certified Simplified Chinese language proficiency to lead and manage Simplified Chinese-language transcription and AI data annotation team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage Simplified Chinese-language transcription and data annotation team.
• 6 hours: Hands-on word alignment and annotation.
• 4 hours: Reviewing completed work, quality assurance, ensuring daily output targets are met, mentoring team members, and managing the team's day-to-day operations.

Requirements:

• Excellent proficiency in Simplified Chinese, including grammar, vocabulary, spelling, and comprehension.
• Strong understanding of spoken Simplified Chinese, accents, and conversational language.
• Good command of English for professional communication.
• Previous experience in transcription, translation, proofreading, linguistic quality assurance, or data annotation is preferred.
• Prior team management or leadership experience is an advantage.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

Must have:

Must hold a valid, recognized Simplified Chinese language proficiency certificationsuch as HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi)or an equivalent recognized qualification.
