Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven experience in SAP ABAP development, including custom reports, enhancements, interfaces, and technical leadership of ABAP development teams or workstreams.
• Strong communication skills to align business stakeholders, functional consultants, developers, project managers, and global IT teams.
• Solid understanding of ABAP with exposure to RICEF components, object-oriented programming, and maintainable development standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day ABAP development activities, balance team capacity, and prioritize tasks across projects.
• Provide architectural guidance and technical decision-making for scalable ABAP solutions.
• Coach and develop team members through onboarding, feedback, and learning opportunities.
• Serve as a bridge between ABAP developers, functional consultants, business stakeholders, and global IT teams.
• Define and enforce development quality standards, including unit tests, code reviews, and documentation.
