Job summary

Bristlecone is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Lead to guide the technical direction of SAP S/4HANA projects. You will shape design, development and delivery of robust SAP solutions while collaborating with functional consultants and business stakeholders.

The role emphasizes leadership, adherence to best practices, and delivering high-quality code. You will mentor developers, drive migrations, and foster innovation within the SAP ABAP team.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of SAP ABAP development with a proven track record leading SAP projects.
• Deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA architecture and core modules.
• Experience leading and managing SAP ABAP teams with strong collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with ABAP Workbench, ADT, SAP GUI; familiarity with SAP HANA integration.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP ABAP development, with a strong track record of leading SAP projects.

• Proven experience in leading and managing SAP ABAP teams, with excellent leadership and collaboration skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving technical issues.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience in working with Agile methodologies and a flexible approach to project management.
• Proficiency in SAP development tools, such as ABAP Workbench, ADT, and SAP GUI.
• Familiarity with SAP HANA database and its integration with SAP S/4HANA is an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery.
• A passion for technology and a commitment to staying updated with the latest SAP innovations.

Information Security Responsibilities

• Understand and adhere to Information Security policies, guidelines and procedure, practice them for protection of organizational data and Information System.
• Take part in information security training and act while handling information.
• Report all suspected security and policy breach to InfoSec team or appropriate authority (CISO).
• Understand and adhere to the additional information security responsibilities as part of the assigned job role.
