Job summary

Telawne Power Equipments in Thane, India, seeks an experienced Mechanical Design Lead to guide a team and deliver robust transformer mechanical designs. You will develop layouts, 3D models, and fabrication drawings while ensuring compliance with relevant standards and documentation.

You will also perform structural analyses, review specifications, manage BOMs, and coordinate with Production, Projects, Purchase, and Quality teams to drive design improvements and vendor alignment.

Qualifications

• Experience in transformer mechanical design with CAD tools.
• Proficiency in design for manufacturing and documentation.
• Knowledge of IS, IEC, and IEEE standards applicable to transformers.
• Ability to review specs, prepare BOMs, and coordinate with teams.

Preferred candidate profile
