The Team Lead II, Accounting oversees the delivery and performance of services within the Record-to-Report subprocess, ensuring efficient and high-quality processes and compliance with relevant regulations and policies. Responsible for managing a medium-sized team (direct reports only).
Qualified professional (CA, CPA, CMA, ICWA) or Post graduation in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. 4-8 years of progressive experience in Finance and Accounting, with strong exposure to the Record-to-Report (RTR) process with minimum 1-3 years of people management experience, with a proven ability to lead, coach, develop, and engage high-performing teams. Demonstrated experience managing month-end and year-end close activities, balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, provisions, and financial reporting. Strong understanding of accounting principles, internal controls, SOX compliance requirements, and audit support processes. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders across multiple functions and levels. Proven ability to manage priorities, balance workloads, monitor KPIs/SLAs, and deliver results in a fast-paced shared services or global business environment.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making skills. Continuous improvement mindset with experience driving process optimization and operational excellence. Strong SAP and RTR process expertise within a shared services environment.
