Supporting Actions

Timely, accurate and value-added submission of information

• Submission of accurate monthly MIS pack to stakeholders within timelines.
• Prepare monthly performance update decks for senior management, highlighting exceptions and providing lead and lag indicators.
• Deliver quarterly business review presentations covering all financial and non-financial KPIs.
• Review processes to ensure data integrity and accuracy of financial, cost, management accounting, and reporting.

Financial Planning

To develop the three-year rolling and annual operational plan in line with shareholder objectives

• Drive the annual operating and business planning cycle in close consultation with business and functional heads.
• Engage with sales and operating functions to ensure all major KPIs are captured.
• Continuously track performance, highlight deviations in a timely manner, and work jointly with stakeholders to achieve desired objectives.

Provide decision support to Business & Functions to help them achieve their objectives within budgets

• Review and discuss key performance drivers across businesses and functions on a monthly/quarterly basis.
• Evaluate the financial viability of initiatives proposed by various departments.
• Recommend alternatives to balance financial objectives with business priorities.

Process Re-engineering and Improvements

• Redesign existing processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Simplify reporting through automation.
• Implement industry best practices.

Build an excellent team and focus on developing back-ups

• Provide oversight and guidance to the team in their learning journey.
• Ensure proper backups are created within the team for all activities.
