Job summary

Amazon in New Delhi is seeking a Team Lead for our Delivery center to oversee shift operations and support the DC manager in performance management and the operational plan. This role demands strong execution, customer focus, and hands-on leadership.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of experience in warehousing or logistics, fluent English, and proficiency in MS Excel. You will drive continuous improvement and ensure safe, efficient delivery processes.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in customer facing environment, warehousing, logistics or manufacturing.
• Strong execution skills, action oriented and go-getter attitude.
• People management experience.
• Proficient in reading, writing and communicating in English.

Responsibilities

• Managing end-to-end operations for one large site or a combination of small sites, including inbound and outbound.
• Meet customer-facing metrics while maintaining cost targets and ensuring safety and team morale.
• Drive performance management and implement training plans for associates.
• Continuously improve the delivery process and sustain higher delivery performance.
• Conduct 4M and 5S audits daily at the delivery station.
• Stand-in for Area Manager.
• Navigate ambiguity and drive clarity in evolving situations; operate in a fast-paced, customer-obsessed environment.

We're seeking a Team lead for our Delivery center. In this role you will be responsible for shift operations at our DCs and support the DC manager in performance management and driving the operational plan.

Essential Functions

Key job responsibilities

• Managing, on a daily basis, end to end operations for either one large site or a combination of small sites. Executing inbound and outbound operations
• Meeting customer facing metrics, while maintaining cost targets and upholding safety and morale of the team reporting to you.
• Driving performance management of your team members. Preparing and implementing training and development plans for associates.
• Continuously improve the delivery process and attain a sustained level of delivery performance improvement.
• Conducting 4M and 5S audits for the delivery station on a daily basis.
• Stand-in for Area Manager.
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and drive clarity for the team in evolving situations.Ability to work in a customer-obsessed, fast-paced environment that fosters high ownership and quick decision-making

Basic Qualifications
