ASSPL West Bengal (D36) is seeking a Transportation Operations Associate to drive Last Mile processes from fulfillment centers to customers and to lead LM teams with HR support.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, fluent English, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel, with 1+ year in customer-facing, warehousing, logistics or manufacturing preferred. Join a growing operation focused on quality and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Define, build and execute transportation processes from FC to customers leveraging Last Mile network.
• Hire, train and build a motivated LM workforce with support from HR and training teams.
• Coordinate with Finance, CS, FC and Projects on LM operations.
• Improve LM processes to sustain high performance, reduce waste and eliminate unnecessary work.
• Analyze data reports to identify bottlenecks and improve performance.
• Implement process control and Kaizen style improvements.

Essential Functions

• Defining, building and responsible for the execution of transportation processes, right from FC to customers and leveraging our Last Mile network.
• Responsible for Hiring, training and building up a highly motivated workforce for the LM teams, with support from HR and training team ,to meet the operational requirements, and continuously meeting the high bar on quality and productivity.
• Coordinate with Finance, CS, FC and Projects team to matters related to LM operations.
• Continuously improve the LM process and attain a sustained level of performance standard. Initiates improvements to enhance quality standards, reduce waste, and eliminate unnecessary work.
• Analysis of the data reports to identify performance bottlenecks and improve the performance.
• Implement the formal process control and process improvement mechanisms such as Kaizen

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Speak, write, and read fluently in English
• Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
• Experience with Excel

Preferred Qualifications

• 1+ years of customer-facing environment, warehousing, logistics or manufacturing experience
