Job summary

Maersk is seeking a hands-on APM Terminals Team Leader - operations to oversee daily warehouse activities in an automotive parts environment. You will supervise teams, ensure SOP adherence, and drive efficiency across inbound, storage, and outbound functions.

The role requires a graduate with 3–6 years in warehouse operations, preferably in automotive, plus working knowledge of WMS/ERP systems and barcode scanning. Expect rotational shifts and a commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Graduate with a preferred degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
• 3-6 years of experience in warehouse operations, preferably in the automotive sector.

• Willingness to work in rotational shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operational Supervision: Supervise daily warehouse activities including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and dispatch of automotive components. Ensure timely execution of tasks as per shift plans and production schedules. Monitor material flow and resolve operational bottlenecks.
• Automotive Parts Handling: Oversee handling of various automotive SKUs such as fasteners, electricals, body panels, and assemblies. Ensure correct packaging, labeling, and binning as per defined standards. Implement FIFO/FEFO and ensure traceability of parts through batch/serial tracking.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce safety norms and ensure use of PPE across the warehouse. Maintain a clean and organized work environment following 5S principles. Report incidents, damages, or equipment issues promptly.
