Job summary

Saint Mary’s Educational Society is seeking an Art educator to plan and deliver engaging lessons for primary students. You will foster creativity, introduce diverse art forms, and assess student progress while maintaining a safe and inclusive learning space.

The role involves organizing exhibitions, coordinating events, and collaborating with staff to support students’ academic and social development. A bachelor’s in fine arts and 1–2 years of teaching experience are preferred.

Qualifications

  • 1–2 years of experience teaching Art in a school or similar educational setting.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare lesson plans, worksheets and relevant resources for the subject on a fortnightly plan and deliver engaging Art lessons.

  • Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs.
  • Encourage critical thinking, problem-solving, and observational skills through creative processes.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership to support student development.
  • Ensure adherence to school policies, health and safety guidelines, and safeguarding practices.
  • Participate in staff meetings, professional development programs, and school events.
