Job summary

The ideal candidate holds a social sciences degree (B.A./B.S.) with a preferred B.Ed. and 2–4 years of teaching experience, and is adept at using MS Office and digital teaching tools.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in social sciences (History, Political Science, Geography, Sociology, or related fields).
  • B.Ed. (preferred).
  • Strong conceptual understanding and excellent communication.
  • Ability to design engaging lesson plans and creative teaching aids.
  • Patience, empathy, and ability to handle diverse learners.
  • Collaborative mindset to work with peers, coordinators, and parents.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and digital teaching tools.
  • Prior teaching experience of 2–4 years at school level preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare lesson plans, teaching aids, and assessments as per curriculum.

  • Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback to students and parents.
  • Support and mentor students with learning gaps or special needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, coordinators, and parents for integrated learning.
  • Participate in training, workshops, and staff meetings for professional growth.
  • Maintain student records, discipline, and adherence to school policies.
  • Prepare students for internal assessments and school-based evaluations.

Key Responsibilities
