Job summary

Hero MotoCorp seeks an experienced engineer to own the TCU component development in Jaipur. You will design and evolve Telematics, including hardware, firmware, BLE, and cloud connectivity, while ensuring system‑level integration with other modules.

You will implement device‑level analytics, work with HW/firmware teams, and align with automotive safety and EMI standards to deliver robust connectivity solutions across vehicle projects.

Qualifications

• B.Tech in Electronics / Communications.
• Advanced Qualifications are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Design/ develop/ modify Telematics and Connectivity Solutions including Hardware, Firmware, BLE Integration and Cloud Integration.
• Design of fault free Devices observing automotive and Cyber Security Standards.
• Direct focus on Connectivity Solutions and integration with other electronics modules at system level.
• Design Analytics and Algorithms to be implemented at Device level for Use Cases and Data Analytics.
• Collaborate with HW Architect/firmware/Testing teams to meet vehicle project targets.

TCU Component Owner (Engineer)

A purpose driven role for you

• To design/ develop/ modify Telematics and Connectivity Solutions, including Hardware, Firmware,
  BLE Integration and Cloud Integration.
• Design of fault free Devices observing the most common automotive and Cyber Security
  Standards as applicable.
• Direct focus on Connectivity Solutions and integration of this connectivity solution with other
  electronics modules on the system level.
• Design the Analytics and Algorithms to be implemented at Device level for various Use Cases
  and Data Analytics Requirement
• Design meeting vehicle projects target through continuous interaction with HW
  Architect/firmware/Integration/testing teams.

Academic Qualification & Experience

B.Tech in Electronics / Communications.
Advanced Qualifications are an advantage.

Technical Skills/Knowledge

Hardware design through proper tools like Spice, Orcad
etc. Product development and PLM tool experience
required.
Should have in-depth knowledge and experience
in creating Telematics and IoT systems.
System Level Understanding and Finalize specifications
based on System.
Understanding of Schematics design standards and
impact on EMC issues
Knowledge on Telematics Protocols MQTT , Cloud
Based Server Architecture , Knowledge on Handling the
Connection Management , Database Handler, Strong
testing & debugging skills Black Box & White Box -
System & Unit Level
Understanding of Automotive Standards & Functional
Safety. E.g. ISO 26262 as well as of safety and EMI
requirements related to high power applications
Hands on Experience in communication standards /
networks GSM, GPRS, TCP /IP, UDP. Bluetooth
classic and BLE Navigation system and functions.
Knowledge of Communication Protocols I2C, SPI,
CAN, LIN
