Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, seeks an experienced network engineer (6–10 yrs) specializing in data networks and Cisco Meraki to implement policy-based routing, Meraki API automation, and SD-WAN configurations.

You will troubleshoot LAN/WAN/Wireless and application issues across SD-WAN sites, perform proactive problem management, test firmware releases, plan vulnerability mitigations, share best practices, join P1/P2 bridge calls, and coordinate with local technicians to

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of enabling policy-based routing.
• Experience with Meraki API integration and automation.
• Ability to troubleshoot LAN, WAN, Wireless, and application issues in SD-WAN sites.
• Proven capability in problem management for chronic issues and delivering permanent solutions.
• Experience testing firmware releases, analyzing performance, and implementing in production.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement vulnerability mitigation solutions, perform sanity checks post-implementation, and ensure the environment has no vulnerabilities.
• Provide best-practices ideas and implement them in the Meraki environment.
• Stay informed about emerging products, services, and protocols to suggest service improvements for the business.
• Join P1/P2 bridge calls and provide fixes within SLA, demonstrating expertise in the technology.
• Coordinate with local technicians and troubleshoot hardware issues.
• Certification in Meraki (CMNA) is an added advantage.

• Plan and implement the vulnerability mitigation solutions, sanity check post implementation and ensure the environment has no vulnerability compromise.
• Should provide best practices ideas and implement them in the Meraki environment.
• Should keep track of the emerging products, services and protocols that improves the performance, suggest solutions to business as service improvement.
• Join P1/P2 bridge calls, provide the fix for the issues with SLA and demonstrate the expertise level on the technology.
