Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services is seeking a Splunk Developer for design, implementation, and optimization of Splunk Enterprise/Cloud solutions in hybrid cloud environments. The role emphasizes hands-on skills in data onboarding, search head clustering, index clustering, and SIEM workflows for security operations.

Ideal candidates will work with ITSM, monitoring, and security tooling (ServiceNow, Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace) and contribute to threat detection, incident response, and observability.

Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Splunk Enterprise / Splunk Cloud architecture.
• Hands-on experience with indexing, search head clustering, index clustering.
• Experience with ITSI is preferred.
• Data onboarding and parsing (props.conf, transforms.conf).
• Experience with SIEM concepts, SOC workflows, and threat detection.

TCS hiring for Splunk Developer

experience: 5-8

Location: Chennai, Hyderabad

Must have:

• Strong expertise in Splunk Enterprise / Splunk Cloud architecture
• Hands-on experience with:
• Indexing, search head clustering, index clustering
• Splunk ES, ITSI (preferred)
• Data onboarding and parsing (props.conf, transforms.conf)
• Experience with SIEM concepts, SOC workflows, and threat detection
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) and hybrid architectures
• Proficiency in Linux, scripting (Python/Shell), and REST APIs
• Understanding of observability frameworks (logs, metrics, traces)

Tools & Integration

• Experience integrating with:
• ITSM tools (ServiceNow)
• Monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, etc.)
• Security tools (EDR, SIEM ecosystem)
