Job summary

Tata Consultancy Services in Hyderabad is seeking a seasoned Splunk Administrator with an ITSI focus to design, implement and optimize service monitoring for complex systems. You will build service models, KPIs and glass tables, and automate tasks using Python and Bash.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in Splunk ITSI, strong architecture knowledge, and excellent collaboration skills to work with IT and business stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelors or higher in CS/IT or related field.
• 5+ years as a Splunk Administrator with a focus on ITSI.
• Strong Splunk architecture, data ingestion and indexing knowledge.
• Experience with ITSI modules: service models, KPIs and glass tables.
• Python and Bash for automation and integration tasks.
• Familiar with IT infrastructure: servers, networks and applications.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with stakeholders.

Role & responsibilities

Strong experience in implementing service monitoring for complex systems using Splunk ITSI with at least 1 year experience

• Proven experience as a Splunk Administrator(5+ Years)with a focus on ITSI.
• Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Strong understanding of Splunk architecture, data ingestion, and indexing.
• Experience with IT Service Intelligence (ITSI) modules, including creating and managing service models, KPIs, and glass tables.
• Proficiencyin scripting languages (e.g., Python,Bash) for automation and integration tasks.
• Familiarity with IT infrastructure and operations, including servers, networks, and applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Splunk Certified Admin or Splunk Certified ITSI Specialist certification.
• Experience in a large enterprise environment. - Familiarity withHelixor other IT service management frameworks.
