Job summary

Armanino India LLP, a fully owned subsidiary of Armanino (USA), invites qualified professionals to join our Tax team in India. The role focuses on corporate tax compliance, tax provision calculations, and proactive client interaction to ensure accurate and timely deliverables.

You will work with experienced professionals, participate in CPA certification support, and contribute to a collaborative environment across our expanding India operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting, Tax, Finance or related discipline.
• CPA (US) or Chartered Accountant preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of public accounting experience in taxation; 1 year supervising staff.

Responsibilities

• Review and prepare corporate tax compliance for clients.
• Prepare corporate income tax provisions and quarterly estimates.
• Conduct tax research and stay updated on regulations.
• Provide guidance and on-the-job training to developing staff.
• Delegate work and manage pipeline of work and resources.
• Communicate with team and clients to ensure information is collected.
• Deliver quality client service with ownership and timeliness.
• Support CPA certification progress with study materials and classes.

This open position is for Armanino India LLP, which is located in India. Armanino India LLP is a fully owned subsidiary of Armanino (USA).

Job Responsibilities

• Review and prepare corporate tax compliance on behalf of clients.
• Projects may include calculation and preparation of federal, state, and local tax returns, quarterly estimates, vouchers, extension, and projections.
• Review and prepare corporate income tax provision calculations.
• Conduct tax research and stay up to date with changes in tax regulation and develop tax planning skills at the federal and state level.
• Provide support, guidance and on the job training to technically develop less experienced individuals.
• Delegate work to staff, proactively manage pipeline of work and resources.
• Communicate with the team and client to ensure all relevant information is collected or addressed while managing competing priorities.
• Provide quality client service which includes responsiveness, client ownership, timeliness of projects, and good communication.
• Develop tax technical and software skills through instructor-lead courses, self-guided learnings, workflow updates, and on the job training.
• Work toward the completion of CPA certification with the support of Armanino through preparation materials and classes.
• Provide constructive feedback and performance reviews

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance or related discipline
• Certified Public Accountant (US) or qualified Chartered Accountant preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in public accounting in taxation or equivalent experience
• Minimum of 1 year experience in supervising the work of others, including delegation, training and development of staff and interns
• Experience with a wide variety of entity types
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
• Expert Knowledge o Go-systems, CCH Axcess, XCM, and Caseware preferred.
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
• Tech savvy & adaptable to changing work expectations
