Job summary

Armanino India LLP is seeking a tax professional in Hyderabad to prepare and review tax returns for high-net-worth individuals and closely held businesses. The role involves researching tax developments and developing planning opportunities.

You will support partners, identify strategic opportunities, and mentor colleagues in a collaborative environment. A CPA/CA and 2+ years in public accounting taxation are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance or related discipline.
• CPA US or CA preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of public accounting taxation experience.
• Experience with a wide variety of entity types.
• Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and review tax returns for high-net-worth individuals and closely held businesses, trusts, estates, and gift taxes.
• Conduct tax research on industry and government developments for wealth planning opportunities.
• Identify key planning opportunities and develop tax strategies aligned with client needs.
• Assist in identifying and promoting new delivery capabilities to satisfy market requirements.
• Support partner team in practice strategy, objectives, and budgets.
• Mentor key talent with coaching skills.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and review tax returns as it relates to high-net-worth individuals, primarily their personal income tax return as well as their closely held businesses, trust, estate, and gift tax returns.
• Conduct tax research into industry and government developments as it relates to wealth planning opportunities and strive to maintain up-to-date tax knowledge.
• Identify key planning opportunities throughout the year and develop a framework for tax strategies that best align with client needs and goals.
• Assist in identifying and promoting the development of new delivery capabilities and/or channels to satisfy evolving market requirements.
• Support the partner team in the development and planning of practice strategy, objectives, and budgets.
• Build on strong coaching skills to mentor key talent.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance or related discipline.
• Certified Public Accountant (US) or qualified Chartered Accountant is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting in taxation or equivalent experience.
• Experience with a wide variety of entity types.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
• Expert Knowledge of Go-systems, CCH Axcess, XCM, and Caseware preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
• Tech savvy & adaptable to changing work expectations.
