Job summary

Armanino India LLP, a fully owned subsidiary of Armanino LLP (USA), is seeking a tax professional to prepare and review tax returns for high-net-worth clients and their closely held entities. You will conduct tax research, identify planning opportunities, and support firm strategy while mentoring junior staff.

The role requires a degree in accounting/tax, CPA/CA preferred, and 2+ years in public accounting taxation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Accounting, Tax, Finance or related discipline.
• Certified Public Accountant (US) or Chartered Accountant is preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting in taxation or equivalent experience.
• Experience with a wide variety of entity types.
• Excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal relations.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review tax returns related to high-net-worth individuals and their entities.
• Conduct tax research on wealth planning opportunities and industry developments.
• Identify planning opportunities and develop tax strategies aligned with client goals.
• Support development of new delivery capabilities to meet market needs.
• Assist in planning practice strategy, objectives, and budgets.
• Mentor and coach junior staff to build talent across the team.

Responsibilities

• Preparation and review tax returns as it relates to high-net-worth individuals, primarily their personal income tax return as well as their closely held businesses, trust, estate, and gift taxreturns
• Conduct tax research into industry and government developments as it relates to wealth planning opportunities and strive to maintain up-to-date taxknowledge
• Identify key planning opportunities throughout the year and develop a framework for tax strategies that best align with client needs andgoals
• Assist in identifying and promoting the development of new delivery capabilities and/or channels to satisfy evolving marketrequirements
• Support the partner team in the development and planning of practice strategy, objectives, andbudgets
• Build on strong coaching skills to mentor keytalent

Requirements

• Bachelor’sorMaster’sDegree in Accounting, Tax,Financeor related discipline
• Certified Public Accountant (US) or qualified Chartered Accountant is apreferred
• Minimum of2years of experience in public accounting in taxation or equivalent experience
• Experience with a wide variety of entity types
• Strong interpersonal and relationship buildingskills
• Expert Knowledge o Go-systems,CCHAxcess, XCM, andCasewarepreferred.
• Excellent communication skills
