Solventum is seeking a Tax IT Analyst to join its Global Capability Center (GCC) organization in India. The role will support the design, implementation, enhancement, integration, and ongoing support of global Direct and Indirect Tax technology solutions, with particular emphasis on Solventum's SAP S/4HANA ERP landscape. The Tax IT Analyst will work at the intersection of Tax, Finance, ERP, integration, and technology, collaborating with global business and IT stakeholders to translate tax requirements into dependable, scalable, and supportable technology solutions. The position is intentionally suited to a candidate with strong fundamentals, learning agility, and potential to grow deeper into the Tax IT domain, rather than requiring extensive senior-level experience from day one. The current business requirement specifically identifies support for the TPIC Transfer Pricing solution as an immediate priority.
Support the design, configuration, implementation, enhancement, and ongoing operation of Tax solutions integrated with SAP S/4HANA. Translate Direct and Indirect Tax business requirements into clear functional and technical requirements. Participate in solution design workshops, requirements discussions, design reviews, testing, implementation, and post-production support. Support global Tax processes and applications across Solventum's technology landscape. Develop an understanding of the capabilities, architecture, interfaces, dependencies, and limitations of the assigned Tax applications. Assist in reviewing solution designs to ensure alignment with functional, security, integration, performance, quality, and operational requirements. Identify design or integration issues and collaborate with the appropriate business and IT teams through resolution.
Develop functional and technical expertise across Solventum's Tax technology portfolio, including ONESOURCE, SAP S/4HANA and TPIC, along with associated integrations. Support ONESOURCE Tax Determination processes and integrations with SAP. Support transaction and master-data flows between Tax platforms and connected enterprise applications. Assist with troubleshooting application, interface, configuration, and data-related issues. Support application changes, testing, deployment validation, production support, and continuous improvement.
Build functional and technical understanding of Solventum's TPIC Transfer Pricing solution. Provide application and operational support for TPIC as knowledge and capability are developed. Partner with Tax stakeholders to understand Transfer Pricing technology requirements and support solution evolution. Supporting the new TPIC Transfer Pricing tool is identified as the most pressing requirement for this hire in the approved position discussion.
Collaborate with Global Tax, Finance, ERP, Integration, and other IT teams to design and deliver solutions meeting business requirements. Participate in regional and global workshops representing assigned Tax processes or subprocesses. Partner with business stakeholders during requirements definition, solution validation, UAT, deployment, and stabilization. Help evaluate process and technology improvements and advocate for standardized, scalable solutions. Communicate technical topics effectively to both business and IT audiences.
Create and maintain functional specifications, process flows, configuration documentation, test scenarios, support documentation, and knowledge articles. Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, defect resolution, deployment, and post-production validation. Contribute to incidents, problems, and change-management activities for supported Tax applications. Help drive root-cause identification and sustainable resolution of recurring application or integration issues. Build reusable knowledge and documentation within the India GCC to strengthen long-term Tax IT support capability.
