Job summary

Alignerr is seeking a Tamil Language Expert to evaluate and improve AI-generated content for naturalness, accuracy, and cultural appropriateness. The role is fully remote, flexible, and contract-based, with 10–40 hours per week and no required AI background.

You will review translations, identify issues, and provide detailed feedback, working independently on your own schedule to shape AI communication for Tamil speakers worldwide.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in Tamil.
• Strong written communication skills in Tamil.
• Solid command of contemporary Tamil usage across contexts and registers.
• Naturally detail-oriented with a methodical approach.
• Comfortable evaluating written language quality across topics.
• No prior AI or tech experience required.

Responsibilities

• Review AI-generated Tamil translations and original content for accuracy and naturalness.
• Identify mistranslations, unnatural phrasing, register mismatches, and cultural issues.
• Suggest clear, idiomatic, and culturally appropriate improvements.
• Provide structured, detailed feedback on linguistic and cultural quality.
• Work independently and asynchronously - fully on your own schedule.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. No AI background needed - just a deep command of Tamil and a sharp eye for quality.

• Review AI-generated Tamil translations and original content for accuracy and naturalness

Who You Are

• Native or near-native fluency in Tamil

• Comfortable evaluating written language quality across a variety of topics
• No prior AI or tech experience required

Nice to Have

• Experience in translation, localization, editing, or linguistics
• Familiarity with AI tools or language evaluation workflows
• Knowledge of regional Tamil variations - Sri Lankan Tamil, Indian regional dialects, or otherwise
• Background in communications, education, journalism, or content review
