Job summary

Cognite in Bengaluru, India, is seeking a Talent Systems Manager to own and optimize the talent tech stack. You will configure Greenhouse end-to-end, automate workflows, and ensure data integrity while enhancing Claude-based learning and development tools across the org.

You’ll also optimize HiBob’s Talent module, drive adoption of SkillJar, and maintain documentation and vendor relationships. This is a senior IC role with ownership and cross-border collaboration.

How you’ll demonstrate Ownership

About the Role

Cognite’s Talent team is investing in the systems and processes behind every hire and every person’s decision, one of the three core pillars of our 2027 Talent Strategy, alongside a company-wide performance culture and an AI-native way of working. We’re hiring a Talent Systems Manager to own and optimize the technology backbone of that work.

This is a hands-on, systems-first role. You’ll spend time inside Greenhouse configuring, streamlining, and continuously improving our recruiting workflow so recruiters and hiring managers move faster with less friction. Beyond Greenhouse, you’ll help build out Claude as Cognite’s primary development tool for employees and leaders org-wide, extend that same rigor to HiBob’s Talent module (where our performance process runs), and to SkillJar, our learning management system.

You won’t manage people in this role, but you will operate at manager-level scope: owning a real piece of Cognite’s talent tech stack, setting the roadmap for how it’s used, and being the go-to expert whenever Greenhouse or our broader talent systems come up.

What You’ll Own

• Greenhouse Optimization & Recruiting Workflow: Own Greenhouse end to end configuration, automation, integrations, and data integrity. Continuously improve the recruiting workflow inside it so recruiters, hiring managers, and candidates all move through a faster, cleaner process. Build and maintain reporting that gives the Talent team a clear, trustworthy read on pipeline health and recruiting metrics.
• AI Tooling & Integration for Employee Development: Help make Claude the go-to, in-the-flow learning and development tool for Cognite employees and leaders, building and refining the required integrations and Claude Skills that deliver coaching, guidance, and development in the moment someone needs it, and driving adoption across the org.
• HRIS Workforce & Talent Module: Partner with People Operations & Org Development to optimize HiBob’s Talent module across the performance cycle (goal setting, talent review) and Workforce Planning tool as the operational bridge between hiring managers and approvals. Build reporting that flags stale requests by SLA, not just status, and partner with HR Tech to keep templates and routing aligned with how divisions actually approve headcount — so TA and hiring managers work off one source of truth.
• SkillJar & Learning Systems: Provide ongoing support and optimization for SkillJar as capacity allows, ensuring our learning programs are well-supported by the underlying system.
• Tech Stack Stewardship: Serve as the internal subject-matter expert across the talent tech stack, maintaining documentation, training materials, and vendor relationships, and making the case for where further investment or consolidation would pay off.

The Impact you bring to Cognite

• Minimum of 3+ years administering or optimizing Greenhouse ATS, in a recruiting or talent operations capacity with depth in their AI toolkit
• A systems-thinker’s instinct for workflow design - you see the friction in a process and know how to configure it away
• Genuine comfort using AI tools to streamline HR/recruiting work, not just an interest in the idea of it
• Experience with a modern HRIS platform (HiBob or comparable) and a working understanding of how performance or talent management modules operate
• Strong written communication and the ability to partner effectively with global stakeholders across time zones
• Comfort operating as a senior individual contributor - this role carries real ownership and scope without direct reports

Nice to Have

• Experience with SkillJar or another LMS
• Prior experience supporting a distributed or global Talent/People team
• Exposure to workforce or recruiting analytics and dashboarding
