Job summary

TE Connectivity Ltd. is seeking a Talent Sourcer based in Malaysia to drive creative sourcing strategies across global regions.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industry experience in Industrial Technology and Manufacturing with exposure to Engineering, Operations, Sales, Product and Strategy recruitment.
• Experience in intake calls, screening/assessing, interviewing, offers and compensation negotiations.
• Experience sourcing for SEA and overseas markets is a plus.
• Experience in HR Shared Services or GCC is an added advantage.
• Ability to leverage data-driven decisions.
• Ability to build talent maps, pools and market reports.
• Proven track record of meeting targets.
• Self-starter with strong work ethic and team mindset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple campaigns across global geographies.
• Proficiency in LinkedIn, Microsoft Office and recruitment databases.
• Knowledge of SuccessFactors is preferred.

Responsibilities

Job Overview

• Utilize creative sourcing approaches, experience in X-ray searches, search engine optimization, social sourcing, and Boolean strings.
• Create, maintain, and strengthen contact with talent communities for both active and passive candidates within TE’s core engineering skill sets for Philippines & Malasia region
• Lead the development of meaningful talent pipelines/pools that fulfil business needs, as defined by regional / business specific recruitment plans
• Provide value-add sourcing advice to key stakeholders to influence and persuade talent decisions and strategies.
• Closely collaborate with recruiters based in Philippines & Malasia and other global regions to align sourcing strategy with hiring priorities and ensure seamless candidate progression
• Ensure data integrity in maintaining records in our ATS/CRM and maintain high data integrity.
• Collaborate with regional sourcing teams and share best practices with the larger sourcing team.
• Identify bottlenecks or challenges in the sourcing and recruitment process and work collaboratively with stakeholders to resolve them, ensuring continuous progress on critical roles
• Proactively identify and drive opportunities for improvements.

What your background should look like:

• 3+ years of industry experience, preferably in Industrial Technology and Manufacturing, with exposure to sourcing across functions like Engineering, Operations, Sales, Product, and Strategy.
• Participate on intake calls, screening/assessing, interviewing, preparing and extending offers, i.e. compensation negotiation, debriefs.
• Prior experience sourcing/recruiting for SEA and oversees market is a plus.
• Experience working in an HR Shared Services model or Global Capability Center (GCC) is an added advantage.
• Ability to leverage a data-driven approach to make decisions.
• Ability to build talent maps, pools, pipelines and talent market reports.
• Successful track record of achieving targets, whether those be deadlines or hiring targets.
• Self-starter with an incredible work ethic and team first mentality.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple campaigns across global geographies.
• Proficiency in LinkedIn, Microsoft Office and knowledge of using recruitment databases.
