Job summary

Anagram Digital in Gurgaon (Sector 54) is seeking a full-time HR professional with 2-3 years of HR experience and at least 1 year in recruitment. You will own the hiring function, build a candidate pipeline for core roles, and run end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and policy compliance.

Timings are Mon-Friday 10AM-7PM, Work from Office ONLY. This role reports to the Founder and offers a chance to define the HR function from scratch.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years in HR, with at least one year of hands-on recruitment.
• Agency, startup or creative-industry experience preferred.
• Fluent on LinkedIn, Naukri and creative hiring channels such as Behance and Instagram.

Responsibilities

• Own the full hiring cycle: JDs, sourcing, screening, interview scheduling, offers.
• Manage onboarding and compliance processes, including contracts, letters and policy updates.
• Serve as first point of contact for team questions, escalating to the Founder as needed.

What you Own

Hiring, first and foremost

• A standing pipeline of candidates for every core role: design, copy, client servicing, video, performance marketing. When someone exits, a shortlist is ready within days.
• The full hiring cycle: JDs, sourcing, screening, interview scheduling, offers.
• A working network of freelancers and interns for peak workloads.

Compliance and documentation

• Statutory HR compliance and workplace policies, kept current.
• Offer letters, employment contracts, NDAs, the employee handbook.
• Leave, attendance and holiday calendar.

People operations

• Onboarding that has a new hire productive in week one.
• Clean exits: notice tracking, handovers, exit conversations, full and final coordination.
• First point of contact for team questions and concerns, escalating to the Founder only when needed.

Culture

• Review cycles and one-on-one check-ins, run on schedule.
• Team rituals, offsites and celebrations.

Who you are

• 2-3 years in HR, with at least one year of hands‑on recruitment. Agency, startup or creative‑industry experience preferred.
• Comfortable building from scratch. No HR team sits above you.
• Working knowledge of Indian labour compliance.
• Organised and discreet, with a clear, warm writing voice.
• Fluent on LinkedIn, Naukri and creative hiring channels such as Behance and Instagram.
