Job summary

Vanguard India in Hyderabad is seeking an HR operations professional to manage end-to-end onboarding, background checks, and systems access. You will coordinate with IT, Facilities, and Talent Acquisition to ensure Day‑1 readiness and a smooth new‑hire experience.

The role requires 4+ years in HR, a Bachelor’s degree, and strong skills in onboarding, employee records management, HRIS, vendor coordination, and policy administration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4+ years of experience in HR operations or general HR functions.
• Bachelor’s degree (B.Com/ BBA/B.E./B.Tech) in Human Resources or related fields.
• Experience with HRIS systems and onboarding processes.

Responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end onboarding tasks including documentation, background checks, and system/access setup.
• Coordinate with IT, Facilities, HRBP, and Talent Acquisition to ensure Day‑1 readiness.
• Conduct onboarding touchpoints and support a smooth new‑hire experience.
• Process onboarding transactions accurately in HRIS and internal systems.
• Track onboarding progress, follow up on pending actions, and ensure timely issue resolution.
• Maintain and update digital employee records in line with compliance standards.
• Partner with vendors to meet onboarding timelines.
• Collaborate with hiring managers and HRBP to address onboarding needs.
• Serve as the primary contact for new hires during pre‑boarding and onboarding.
• Address queries related to documentation, policies, systems access, and HR support.
• Identify gaps and recommend improvements to streamline onboarding workflows.
• Support documentation updates, onboarding, and operational checklists.
• Assist HRBP with data updates, HRIS tasks, and employee movement coordination.
• Coordinate with payroll/finance for reimbursement setup or joining requirements.
• Participate in HR projects, audits, and process improvement initiatives as needed.

Role Summary

This role supports moderate complexity customer service and administrative activities for Human Resources, handling incoming inquiries and directing non‑routine or complex questions to the appropriate HR specialists.

Core Responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end onboarding tasks including documentation, background checks, and system/access setup.
• Coordinate with IT, Facilities, Human Resources Business Partner, and Talent Acquisition to ensure Day‑1 readiness.
• Conduct onboarding and orientation touchpoints and support a smooth new‑hire experience.
• Process onboarding transactions accurately in HRIS and internal systems.
• Track onboarding progress, follow up on pending actions, and ensure timely issue resolution.
• Maintain and update digital employee records in line with compliance standards.
• Partner with third‑party vendors to meet onboarding timelines.
• Collaborate closely with hiring managers and Human Resources Business Partner to address onboarding needs and escalations.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for new hires during pre‑boarding and onboarding.
• Address queries related to documentation, policies, systems access, and basic Human Resources support.
• Identify gaps and recommend improvements to streamline onboarding workflows.
• Support documentation updates, onboarding, and operational checklists.
• Assist Human Resources Business Partner with data updates, HRIS tasks, and employee movement coordination.
• Coordinate with payroll/finance for reimbursement setup or joining‑related requirements.
• Participate in Human Resources projects, audits, and process enhancement initiatives as needed.
