Job summary

Cloudxtreme seeks an experienced Analytics Specialist to design and implement data warehouse concepts, model data, and manage end-to-end analytics projects. You will gather requirements, build metrics, and deliver dashboards using Tableau, Tableau Prep, and SSIS, with strong SQL skills.

You will enhance reporting through Tableau Pulse/Agent/Cloud, oversee data quality, and support analytics leadership with process improvements, automation, and stakeholder communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, CS, IT or IS.
• MA, MS, or MBA required.
• 3–6 years of overall experience; 2–3 years in data analytics, data strategy, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Implement Data warehouse concepts and data modelling principles.

Job description

Key Responsibilities

• Implement Data warehouse concepts and Data modelling principles
• Execute the entire project life cycle from Analysis, Development, Testing, Production and end user support
• Gather business requirements, collect data from different data sources, generate metrics, build reports, provide data insights and document the process.
• Perform mapping of data sources, data movement, and analytics, with the goal of ensuring data quality using ETL Methodologies and tools
• Excellent ability in using MS Office Suit incl Visual Basic Applications (VBA) Scripting for simplified reporting, visualization and process automations
• Use Adobe Analytics and Tableau to develop and deliver metrics dashboards as well as standardized, custom, and ad hoc reporting for key stakeholders
• Should have experience with Tableau Pulse, Tableau Agent, and Tableau Cloud functionalities to enhance and improve existing reporting using the latest Tableau features.
• Identify distinctions in data to optimize analysis and findings
• Manage expectations and elevate issues as needed to ensure timely delivery of results
• Work with Analytics leadership to identify and execute continuous improvement initiatives
• Extract data from the firms knowledge portals, web tracking tools, and other sources on a periodic basis
• Prepare spreadsheets, Prep flows, SQL queries, and Tableau dashboards that perform calculations to allow data to be viewed across many parameters
• Build data flows in Tableau Prep or SSIS packages as per the detailed design provided and publish data sources to Tableau Server
• Execute the pre QA test scripts to confirm the validity of the inputs received
• Respond to ad hoc metrics queries by providing standard templated reports
• Ensure the accuracy of metrics by performing detailed quality reviews, data testing, and technical troubleshooting for Level-1 issues
• Create, build and deliver specific custom analysis projects as determined by needs of the business
• Build new reports based on end user needs to make the process more efficient and improve accuracy level
• Create automated interactive dashboards and applications for reporting using Tableau and Adobe Analytics
• Visual presentation of quantitative information through tools such as PowerPoint and Tableau
• Manage end to end surveys and practitioner outreach activities including designing and rolling out surveys, monitoring results, closing surveys, tracking and reporting results
• Ability to interact with customers to present standard offerings, insights and findings
• Construct complex flows in Tableau Prep or build SSIS packages to compile the data for Distribution Lists for practitioner outreach activities
