Job summary

Concentrix is seeking a Tableau Administrator for Hyderabad to manage enterprise Tableau Server environments on Linux, ensure security and performance, and support developers with publishing and data sources.

The role requires 4–6 years hands-on Tableau Administration experience, with strong scripting for automation and a solid understanding of server-side architecture.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of hands-on experience in Tableau Administration in enterprise environments.
• Strong experience in Tableau Server administration on Linux (installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, troubleshooting).
• Hands-on with Tableau Server 2024.x/2025.x architecture and server-side functionalities.
• Experience managing Tableau Server in distributed enterprise environments (availability, reliability, security, performance).
• Understanding of Tableau Server administration: user access, permissions, sites, projects, groups, schedules, extracts, data sources.

Responsibilities

• Manage Tableau Server on Linux with enterprise-scale availability and security.
• Support Tableau developers with workbook/dashboard publishing, data sources, refreshes, and troubleshooting.
• Monitor server health and performance; optimize extracts and dashboard usage.
• Automate administrative tasks using scripting; deploy workbooks/data sources across environments.

Job Description

• 4–6 years of hands‑on experience in Tableau Administration, with strong experience in enterprise Tableau environments
• Strong experience in Tableau Server administration on Linux, including installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and troubleshooting
• Hands‑on experience with Tableau Server 2024.x/2025.x architecture and server‑side functionalities
• Experience managing Tableau Server in a distributed enterprise environment, including platform availability, reliability, security, and performance
• Strong understanding of Tableau Server administration, user access, permissions, sites, projects, groups, schedules, extracts, and data sources
• Experience monitoring Tableau Server utilization, dashboard/workbook usage, extract performance, and server health
• Experience troubleshooting Tableau Server performance issues and implementing recommendations/fixes to improve platform performance
• Hands‑on experience supporting Tableau developers with workbook/dashboard publishing, data sources, refreshes, and troubleshooting
• Experience with Tableau Server automation, including deployment of workbooks/data sources across environments and automation of administrative tasks using scripting
• Strong experience with Tableau Admin Views and understanding of Tableau Server repository/workgroup tables for monitoring and analysis
• Experience working with Tableau Support to troubleshoot product issues, defects, and enhancements
• Experience with Tableau Desktop, including basic understanding of workbook/dashboard development and data source connectivity
• Strong understanding of Tableau security, authentication, authorization, and enterprise administration
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
