Tekskills is seeking a Tableau Platform Administrator to manage Tableau Online (Cloud) environments and provide hands-on support for Tableau Desktop. The role focuses on platform administration, connectivity troubleshooting, performance optimisation, and enabling data access across cloud platforms.

Immediate notice period. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL skills and experience with cloud data platforms like GCP BigQuery and Azure, along with Tableau Bridge configuration.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Tableau Online (Cloud) environments.
• Manage users, groups, roles, licensing, and permissions.
• Implement and support Tableau security models, including row- and column-level security.
• Monitor platform usage and performance; troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Manage published data sources, extracts, refresh schedules, and subscriptions.
• Configure and support Tableau Bridge and its integrations with enterprise systems.
• Troubleshoot connectivity from Tableau Online/Desktop to cloud data platforms (GCP BigQuery, Azure).
• Optimise dashboard performance, large extracts, and data models.
• Provide Tableau best-practice guidance to users.
• Build and optimise dashboards, calculations, parameters, filters, and actions using Tableau Desktop.

• Administer and support Tableau Online (Cloud) environments.
• Manage users, groups, roles, licensing, and permissions.
• Implement and support Tableau security models, including row‑level and column‑level security.
• Monitor platform usage and performance; troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Manage published data sources, extracts, refresh schedules, and subscriptions.
• Manage Tableau Cloud (Online) and its integrations with enterprise systems.
• Configure and support Tableau Bridge.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues from Tableau Online and Tableau Desktop to cloud data platforms (GCP BigQuery, Azure).
• Optimise dashboard performance, large extracts, and data models.
• Support direct, virtual, and extract‑based connections.
• Provide Tableau best‑practice guidance to users.
• Build and optimise dashboards, calculations, parameters, filters, and actions using Tableau Desktop.

Requirements

• Strong SQL and relational data knowledge.
