Job Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Systems Test Engineer to design, develop, and execute comprehensive test strategies for complex autonomous vehicle systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for translating high-level engineering requirements into structured test scenarios, identifying system defects, and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams to improve product quality and reliability. The role demands strong logical reasoning, system-level thinking, and expertise in troubleshooting complex software and hardware interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and validation strategies for autonomous driving systems and related software components.
- Translate abstract product and engineering requirements into detailed, parameterized testing scenarios.
- Execute functional, integration, system, and regression testing activities across multiple environments.
- Analyze system behavior, identify defects, isolate root causes, and document findings with clarity and precision.
- Perform black-box testing by evaluating system responses without access to underlying source code.
- Collaborate with software, systems, simulation, and validation engineers to resolve issues and improve product quality.
- Drive test coverage optimization while avoiding redundant test scenarios.
- Create detailed bug reports and provide actionable feedback to engineering teams.
- Support continuous improvement of testing methodologies, tools, and processes.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or related technical discipline.
- Master's degree preferred for candidates with a 3-year undergraduate degree.
- Experience in software testing, systems validation, automotive testing, embedded systems testing, or related domains.
- Knowledge of test automation frameworks, defect tracking tools, and software development lifecycles.
- Familiarity with Linux environments, scripting, and data analysis tools is desirable.
