Job summary

NTT DATA North America in Bangalore, Karnataka, India is seeking a Systems Integration Senior Analyst to manage MS SQL Server databases, ensure high availability, and optimize performance.

You will work with customers, business stakeholders and technical teams to resolve issues end-to-end, implement automation, and uphold ITIL-based processes in a fast-paced environment.

This role requires independent drive, strong communication, and ability to switch between multiple activities and teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in managing MS SQL Server databases.
• Configure and maintain database servers and processes, monitoring system health and performance.
• Database performance tuning.
• Plan, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot high-availability database environments (Always-On, Clustering, Replication, etc.).
• Analyze, resolve issues in real time and provide end-to-end resolutions.
• Refine and automate regular processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with end customers, business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; strong problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently and drive the team.
• Ability to multi-task and context-switch between activities and teams.
• Strong ITIL foundation, Continual Service Improvement and Total Quality Management.

• 5+ Years of experience in managing MS SQLServer databases.
• Configure and maintain database servers and processes, including monitoring of system health and performance, to ensure high levels of performance, availability, and security.
• Database performance tuning.
• Planning, deploying, maintaining, troubleshooting of high-availability database environments (Always-On, Clustering, Mirroring, Replication, RAC, Datagaurd, etc.).
• Independently analyze, solve, and correct issues in real time, providing problem resolution end-to-end.
• Refine and automate regular processes, track issues, and document changes, for efficiency and cost optimization.
• Work directly with end customer, business stakeholders as well as technical resources.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, problem solving skills
• Ability to work independently and drive the team
• Ability to multi-task and context-switch effectively between different activities and teams
• Strong ITIL foundation, Continual Service Improvement and Total Quality Management experiences.
