Job summary

NTT DATA in Bangalore is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to design and deliver scalable software solutions across backend (Java 17+, Spring Boot, Node/TS) and frontend (React) with cloud and containerized deployments.

You will help shape architecture, implement streaming data patterns with Kafka, and contribute to TDD/BDD while participating in Agile teams and mentoring others in adopting new technologies.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with Java, Node.js, React and microservices
• Experience with GCP cloud services, especially GKE, GCS, APIGEE Gateway
• Strong expertise in Java 17+, Spring Boot, Node.js (TypeScript), and OO/functional design
• Strong front-end with React and modern state management
• Experience in real-time streaming systems and Event-Driven Architecture (Kafka)
• TDD/BDD and testing frameworks (JUnit, Jest, React Testing Library)
• CI/CD pipelines experience, preferably GitLab
• Agile methodologies and team governance
• Willingness to learn new technologies and lead adoption

We are currently seeking a Systems Integration Advisor to join our team in Bangalore, Karnātaka (IN-KA), India (IN).

Title: Senior Full Stack Engineer (Java / Node / React / k8s)

Required Skills and Qualifications8+ years of experience in software engineering - Java, Node.js, React, microservices Experience in GCP cloud services, particularly GKE, GCS, and APIGEE Gateway Strong expertise in Java 17+, Spring Boot, Node.js (TypeScript), and object-oriented/functional design Strong expertise in building responsive frontends using React and modern state management Expertise in real-time (or near real-time) streaming systems and Event-Driven Architecture (EDA) ideally Confluent Kafka Strong experience in TDD/BDD methodologies and frameworks across the stack (Junit, Mocking frameworks, Jest, React Testing Library) Excellent understanding of full-stack data streaming and asynchronous architectures Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Preferably Gitlab) Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think critically Excellent communication skills to convey complex technical concepts both directly and through documentation Strong use of version control and proven ability to govern a team in the best practice use of version control Strong understanding of Agile and proven ability to govern a team in the best practice use of Agile methodologies A willingness to independently learn a high number of new technologies and to lead a team in learning new technologies

Preferred Skills and Qualifications
