Gaming Laboratories International India Pvt Ltd (GLI) is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to join our Information Technology Team in Noida, India.

The role focuses on day-to-day operational support, troubleshooting, and maintenance of the network and systems infrastructure across GLI offices globally, with emphasis on continuous improvement and asset management. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in IT/CS and at least five years of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or related field is required.
• Minimum of five (5) years of related enterprise network experience.
• Must possess relevant technical skills/certifications for assigned systems.
• Good working knowledge of network topology.

Responsibilities

• Takes ownership of assigned applications and system areas to ensure operation and maintenance.
• Maintains documentation for applications or system functionality.
• Monitors IT system logs, server security, and services; identify and modify errors as needed.
• Analyzes performance of systems and applications; implement improvements.
• Applies OS updates and configuration changes as necessary.
• Maintains and monitors antivirus systems to secure the network.
• Provide courteous and professional IT support across all offices globally.

This role is responsible for the effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware, software, and related infrastructure. This position focuses on continuous improvements, taking charge of asset management and escalating issues as necessary. Additionally, this role involves providing courteous and professional support for IT services in all offices globally.

Job Summary:

The Systems Administrator focuses on day-to-day operational support, troubleshooting and maintenance

while contributing to the technical foundation of the network infrastructure. This role is responsible for

the effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware,

software, and related infrastructure. This position focuses on continuous improvements, taking charge of

asset management and escalating issues as necessary. Additionally, this role involves providing courteous

and professional support for IT services in all offices globally.

Essential Functions (Duties & Responsibilities):

Systems Administrator:

• Takes ownership of assigned application(s) and system(s) areas, ensuring effective operation and maintenance.
• Maintains a general understanding of all company-utilized applications.
• Maintains documentation regarding the application(s) or system(s) functionality.
• Monitors and reviews IT system logs, server security, and special services on servers; identifying errors and making modifications as needed.
• Analyses the performance of assigned systems and applications, making modifications to correct deficiencies.
• Applies operating systems updates, making modifications and configuration changes when necessary.
• Maintains and monitors anti-virus systems to ensure network security.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related discipline is required.
• A minimum of five (5) years of related experience in a similar position within an enterprise network environment is required.
• Must possess relevant technical skills/certifications to the assigned systems.
• Must have a good working knowledge of network topology.

An equivalent combination of experience, education, or demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the IT field may be evaluated and considered in lieu of the experience and education requirements.

• Must have the ability to assess a situation quickly and help arrive at the most beneficial resolution for all parties involved.
• Must have the ability to effectively read, write, speak, understand and communicate in English sufficiently to perform the duties of this position.
• Must be able to adapt technical communication according to the audience.
• Must have the ability to handle and organize multiple projects and deadlines.
• Must demonstrate a high degree of attention to quality, details, and correctness.
• Must be available to work outside of regular business hours, when necessary.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• Must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds or 13.6 kilograms.
• Must have the ability to work at a computer for extensive periods of time.
• Must have the ability to read (both paper and computer screen) for extensive periods of time.
• Must have the ability to listen to and speak with internal and external parties on the telephone and video conference for extended periods of time.
• Must have sufficient hand, arm and finger dexterity to operate a computer keyboard and other Company equipment.
