GLI India Pvt Ltd, Noida, is seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to join the Information Technology team. The role focuses on provisioning, configuring, operating and maintaining systems hardware, software and related infrastructure to support global offices.

You will monitor logs, apply OS updates, manage assets, and ensure security with a strong emphasis on reliability and client service across 480 jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or related field.
• Minimum five years of experience in an enterprise network environment.
• Strong knowledge of network topology and IT security basics.
• Experience provisioning, configuring, maintaining systems and software.

Additionally, this role involves providing courteousand professional support for IT services in all offices globally.Essential Functions (Duties & Responsibilities):Systems Administrator:• Takes ownership of assigned application(s) and system(s) areas, ensuring effective operation andmaintenance.• Maintains a general understanding of all company-utilized applications.• Maintains documentation regarding the application(s) or system(s) functionality.• Monitors and reviews IT system logs, server security, and special services on servers; identifyingerrors and making modifications as needed.• Analyses the performance of assigned systems and applications, making modifications to correctdeficiencies.• Applies operating systems updates, making modifications and configuration changes whennecessary.• Maintains and monitors anti-virus systems to ensure network security.• Performs other duties as assigned.Required Education and Experience:• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science, or a related discipline is required.• A minimum of five (5) years of related experience in a similar position within an enterprisenetwork environment is required.• Must possess relevant technical skills/certifications to the assigned systems.• Must have a good working knowledge of network topology.An equivalent combination of experience, education, or demonstrated knowledge andunderstanding of the IT field may be evaluated and considered in lieu of the experience andeducation requirements.Required Skills/Abilities:• Must have the ability to assess a situation quickly and help arrive at the most beneficial resolutionfor all parties involved.• Must have the ability to effectively read, write, speak, understand and communicate in Englishsufficiently to perform the duties of this position.• Must be able to adapt technical communication according to the audience.• Must have the ability to handle and organize multiple projects and deadlines.• Must demonstrate a high degree of attention to quality, details, and correctness.• Must be available to work outside of regular business hours, when necessary.Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:• Must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 30 pounds or 13.6 kilograms.• Must have the ability to work at a computer for extensive periods of time.• Must have the ability to read (both paper and computer screen) for extensive periods of time.• Must have the ability to listen to and speak with internal and external parties on the telephone andvideo conference for extended periods of time.• Must have sufficient hand, arm and finger dexterity to operate a computer keyboard and otherCompany equipment.Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) is a gaming services company.
