Job summary

Deltek is seeking an ERP-focused engineer to support, maintain, and enhance core financial systems such as General Ledger, Order-to-Cash, and Procure-to-Pay.

You will lead ERP integrations with adjacent platforms like CRM, HRIS, and data warehouses, using iPaaS to ensure secure and auditable interfaces. Collaboration with Finance, Tax, and Audit teams is essential to meet business requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience designing and delivering ERP enhancements across the full lifecycle.
• Ability to collaborate with Finance, Accounting, FP&A, Revenue, Tax and Audit teams.
• Strong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for ERP and data issues.

Job description

• Support, maintain, and enhance ERP platforms and core financial systems, including General Ledger, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Revenue Recognition, Billing, and connected systems.
• Partner closely with Finance, Accounting, FP&A, Revenue, Tax, and Audit teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable system designs and solutions.
• Design, configure, and deliver ERP enhancements across the full lifecycle, including requirements analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
• Lead and contribute to ERP integrations between financial systems and adjacent platforms such as CRM, HRIS, Data Warehouses, and third-party vendors.
• Utilize integration platforms (iPaaS) to build, monitor, and support reliable, secure, and auditable system interfaces.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for complex ERP, integration, and data issues, ensuring accuracy of financial data and system reliability.
• Participate in Agile delivery, including backlog refinement, sprint planning, testing, and release management for ERP and finance-related initiatives.
• Collaborate with solution architects, business system analysts, developers, and project managers to evaluate technical options and deliver secure, compliant, and scalable solutions.
• Develop and maintain architectural diagrams, integration documentation, and operational runbooks to support system integrity, audit readiness, and knowledge sharing.
• Identify and implement opportunities to leverage automation and AI to improve processes, data quality, operational efficiency, and user experience.
• Participate in code reviews and change management (release) process to develop and implement new applications and updates to existing applications
• Interface with third-party software vendors to upscale and resolve integration and software/technical issues
• Maintain pulse on emerging tools, software practices, and technologies to improve solution cost and quality
