Job summary

Alstom Transportation in Bengaluru, India seeks an experienced System Engineer to define and manage architecture and specifications for rail projects. You will work with engineering, project management and QA to ensure alignment with stakeholder expectations.

The role emphasizes system design, compliance with RAMS and safety, and continuous improvement through documentation and process optimization. Strong English communication is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering is mandatory.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience in system domain/program management.
• Knowledge of railway signalling and CBTC/subsystem design.
• Understanding of System V&V and Design for Quality lifecycle.
• Experience with technical decision management and clear English communication.

Take on a new challenge and apply your system engineering expertise in a cutting-edge field. Youll work alongside innovative and collaborative teammates. You''ll play a crucial role in shaping the system design and specifications, defining the architecture that drives our projects forward. Day-to-day, youll work closely with teams across the business, including engineering, project management, and quality assurance, to ensure seamless integration and alignment with stakeholder expectations, and much more. Youll specifically take care of leading the preparation of system specifications (e.g., RS, AD, OCD, ID) while considering non-technical requirements like RAMS and safety, but also supporting continuous improvement initiatives such as Return of Experience (REX) and process optimization.
