Job summary

Suffescom Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is seeking an experienced System Administrator to maintain and secure our multi-platform IT environment, including Linux, macOS, and Windows servers.

You will manage server infrastructure, network routing, firewall rules, and monitoring, while collaborating with IT teams to support critical applications and enterprise services. Strong problem solving and AD/LDAP experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 6–8 years of experience in system administration or similar role.
• Strong Linux, macOS and Windows administration skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain Linux, macOS, and Windows systems.
• Install, configure, monitor, and troubleshoot servers (physical and virtual).
• Oversee network infrastructure including routing, VPN, VLAN, and Wi‑Fi.
• Implement and manage firewall rules, IDS/IPS, and security protocols.
• Handle hardware and software troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, and servers.
• Manage AD/LDAP user accounts, permissions, and policies.
• Monitor performance, logs, uptime, and plan capacity.
• Document configurations, SOPs, and changes; provide Tier 2/3 support.

We are seeking a skilled and experienced System Administratorwith strong expertise inLinux, macOS, and Windows environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience withserver management, network administration, firewall security, and bothhardware and software troubleshooting. This role will be critical in ensuring thesecurity, stability, and performanceof our IT infrastructure across platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and maintainLinux (Ubuntu, CentOS, RHEL), macOS, and Windows-based systems.
Install, configure, monitor, and troubleshootservers (physical and virtual)across platforms.

Overseenetwork infrastructure, includingrouting, switching, VPN, VLAN, and Wi-Fi access points.

Implement and managefirewall rules, IDS/IPS, and network security protocols.

Handlehardware and software troubleshootingfor desktops, laptops, and servers.

Manageuser accounts, permissions, and policiesvia Active Directory and LDAP.

Monitor system performance, logs, and uptime; performcapacity planning.

Collaborate with other IT teams to support enterprise applications and services.

Document system configurations, standard operating procedures, and changes.

ProvideTier 2/3 supportand escalate issues as necessary.

Requirements

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree inComputer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience). 6 -8 yearsof experience in a System Administrator or similar role.

Problem solving skills for Linux

Strong hands-on experience withLinux (server and desktop).

Solid understanding ofmacOS and Windows OS administration.

In-depth knowledge ofnetworking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).

Experience withfirewall configuration and management.

Familiarity withcloud platformslike AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud (preferred but not mandatory).

Strong analytical andproblem-solving skills.
