Job summary

Kreate Energy is seeking a skilled System Administrator to manage on-premises servers (HP, Dell) and cloud resources in our Uttar Pradesh facilities. The role covers virtualization, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, and security, with emphasis on VPNs, backups, patching, and disaster recovery.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with VMware or Hyper-V, Palo Alto firewalls, SAN storage, and monitoring tools, plus strong troubleshooting across Windows and Linux environments.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on experience as a System Administrator or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of HP and Dell server hardware and virtualization platforms.
• Experience with VMware and/or Hyper-V, and configuring Palo Alto Firewalls.
• Solid understanding of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and IIS; proficient with Windows Server and Linux.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain on-premises servers (HP, Dell) and cloud servers.
• Administer and support virtualization platforms such as VMware and Hyper-V
• Configure, manage, and troubleshoot Palo Alto Firewalls and overall network security
• Manage Active Directory, including user accounts, groups, GPOs, and permissions
• Manage Endpoint security and backup tools
• Administer DNS, DHCP, IIS, Office 365, and Windows Update services
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server and Linux systems
• Manage SAN storage and perform capacity planning
• Configure and support site-to-site VPNs
• Monitor system and network performance using monitoring tools
• Perform regular system backups, patching, and security updates
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues
• Ensure system security, uptime, and disaster recovery readiness
• Maintain accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and changes
