Job summary

Avaada Energy is seeking an experienced Electrical Draftsman to prepare detailed drawings for EHV switchyards (220kV/400kV/765kV AIS/GIS) supporting renewable energy and power evacuation projects.

The ideal candidate has 4-10 years in switchyard/substation engineering, hands-on drafting for high-voltage substations, and an ITI/Diploma in Electrical Engineering with AutoCAD certification. Knowledge of IEC/CEA standards is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4-10 years of experience in EHV switchyard/substation engineering.
• Hands-on drafting for 220kV, 400kV, and 765kV AIS/GIS substations.
• Experience in Renewable Energy, Transmission, Power Plant, or EPC projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain detailed engineering drawings for EHV switchyards/substations.
• Ensure drawings comply with CTU/STU, CEA, IEC and project-specific requirements.
• Support engineering team with high-quality drafting outputs.

The incumbent will support the engineering team by delivering high-quality drafting outputs in compliance with CTU/STU, CEA, IEC, and project-specific requirements.

Experience:

• 4-10 Years of experience in EHV Switchyard/Substation Engineering.
• Hands-on experience in drafting for 220kV, 400kV, and/or 765kV AIS/GIS Substations.
• Experience in Renewable Energy, Transmission, Power Plant, or EPC Projects preferred.

Qualification:

• Diploma / ITI in Electrical Engineering, Draftsmanship, or equivalent technical qualification.
• AutoCAD certification preferred.
