Job summary

Cint is seeking a highly skilled Survey Programming Consultant to join our Global Programming & Hosting team. In this hands-on role, you will translate complex client requirements into functional online surveys, script multi-country studies, and ensure data quality from scripting to final delivery.

You will collaborate with project managers and client researchers, perform rigorous QA, validate data formats (SPSS, Excel, CSV), and troubleshoot live fieldwork issues.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of hands-on survey programming experience in market research.
• Advanced proficiency in Decipher, Qualtrics, Alchemer or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript; Python or XML a plus.
• Exceptional QA and data-cleaning skills.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled, technical Survey Programming Consultant to join our growing Global Programming & Hosting (P&H) team. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for translating our clients' complex research requirements into highly functional, error-free online surveys.
As a consultant-level scripter, you will own the technical execution of the survey lifecycle, from initial scripting and logic testing to quality assurance, hosting, and final data delivery. You will work closely with Project Managers and client stakeholders to ensure our surveys are engaging, accessible, and optimized for maximum data quality.

What You'll Do

• Survey Scripting & Execution: Program and script complex, multi-country surveys using industry-leading programming platforms.

• Technical Consulting: Review client questionnaires and logic requirements, advising on best practices for survey design, routing, and user experience.

• Quality Assurance & Testing: Conduct rigorous QA testing on programmed surveys to ensure logical pathways, quotas, skip patterns, and device compatibility are flawless.

• Data Validation: Manage the backend survey data, ensuring data structures are clean and properly formatted for delivery (SPSS, Excel, CSV, etc.).

• Troubleshooting & Support: Quickly diagnose and resolve technical scripting bugs, link tracking issues, or respondent flow bottlenecks during live fieldwork.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner directly with internal Project Managers and client-side researchers to clarify requirements and provide updates on project timelines.

What We're Looking For

• Experience: 6+ years of hands‑on survey programming experience within a market research, panel, or data collection environment.

• Platform Expertise: Advanced proficiency in major survey programming platforms (such as Decipher, Qualtrics, Alchemer or similar ResTech tools).

• Technical Skills: Strong working knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to customize survey interfaces and design. Experience with Python or XML is a strong plus.

• Eye for Detail: Exceptional analytical and QA skills with a track record of delivering clean, error‑free survey logic and data files.
