Job summary

EMDEP TestBoards is seeking an experienced Support & Test Engineer to troubleshoot and validate automated wire harness testing systems in Pune. The role emphasizes wiring harness testing, ATE, electrical validation, and machine vision integrations.

You will work with LabVIEW/TestStand implementations, CAN/LIN communications, and Python/C# tooling to diagnose issues and improve test throughput. Prior experience in automotive test environments is a plus.

Qualifications

• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Electronics & Communication, Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or related engineering.

• Electrical Testing & Troubleshooting
• LabVIEW / TestStand / Python / C#
• Electrical Schematics & Wiring Diagrams
• SQL / MES (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Configure, operate, and troubleshoot Wire Harness ATE systems.
• Perform Continuity, Insulation Resistance, Isolation, and Hipot Testing.
• Diagnose electrical components such as resistors, diodes, relays, and connectors.
• Troubleshoot test fixtures, Interface Test Adapters (ITAs), probes, and hardware issues.
• Use electrical test instruments such as Oscilloscope, Digital Multimeter (DMM), LCR Meter, and DC Power Supply.
• Support automation and test software based on LabVIEW and TestStand.
• Analyze CAN, CAN-FD, LIN, and Automotive Ethernet communication.
• Perform root cause analysis and optimize test system performance.
• Support AOI/Machine Vision systems using Cognex, Keyence, or OpenCV (preferred).
