Job summary

Aditya Birla Group is seeking a full-time Diploma holder in Metallurgy/Mechanical for an on-site metals-lab role in India. 2-5 years of extrusion, SRS & FRP experience in a metals lab is required.

The candidate should be proficient in lab methods, instrument calibration, sample prep, test records and reporting, plus LIMS, microscopy, metallography and spectroscopy, with strong teamwork and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Metallurgy/Mechanical with 2–5 years of lab experience.
• Experience in extrusion, SRS & FRP in a metals lab environment.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing quality systems and team communication.

Responsibilities

• Carry out lab methods, calibration, sample prep and records.
• Maintain LIMS, microscopy, metallography and spectroscopy data.
• Collaborate with production and QA to meet targets and timelines.

Job description

Candidate should be full-time Diploma in Metallurgy/ Mechanical

& having experience in extrusion, SRS & FRP with 2-5 years of experience in Fundamentals of the metals industry laboratory.

Candidate should have technical knowledge and understanding of Lab Methods, Instrument Calibration, Sample preparation, Sample cataloging, Test records & Reporting, LIMS, Microscopy, metallography, Spectroscopy, ILC testing, Mechanical Testing, PodFA, Grain Size MeasurementMust have good Interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with all levels of the workforce. The candidate should have a working knowledge of manufacturing quality systems. Should be very good in teamwork, Service Orientation & customer focus to implement and effectively develop within predefined parameters like timeline, production targets, etc.
