Aditya Birla Group in Maharashtra, India, is seeking a Production Operator to support the finishing line's safe and efficient operation, ensure quality, machine availability, process adherence, and achievement of daily production targets.

You will assist in operating and monitoring equipment, manage material flow, support setup and changes, conduct quality checks, follow safety and 5S practices, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives like Kaizen and TPM.

Responsabilités

• Assist in operating and monitoring Finishing Line equipment.
• Ensure smooth material movement through the finishing process.
• Support line setup, changeovers, and process parameter adjustments.
• Monitor production output against daily shift targets.
• Minimize downtime through timely reporting of abnormalities.
• Conduct visual inspections and dimensional checks as per quality standards.
• Identify product defects and segregate non-conforming material.
• Maintain quality records and inspection reports.
• Support implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines, SOPs, and work instructions.
• Participate in safety audits, toolbox talks, and risk assessments.
• Report unsafe conditions and near-miss incidents immediately.
• Ensure proper usage of PPE at all times.
• Perform basic autonomous maintenance activities.
• Support maintenance teams during breakdowns and planned shutdowns.
• Report equipment abnormalities for timely corrective action.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the work area.
• Follow 5S practices and participate in improvement initiatives.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of finished products.
• Participate in Kaizen, TPM, WCM, Lean Manufacturing, or CI initiatives.
• Suggest ideas for productivity, quality, and cost improvements.
• Support implementation of operational excellence projects.

Key Responsibilities

Production Operations

• Assist in operating and monitoring Finishing Line equipment.
• Ensure smooth material movement through the finishing process.
