Job summary

Tech Mahindra is seeking an experienced IBM DataPower Support Engineer to provide operational support, troubleshooting, administration, and maintenance of IBM DataPower Gateway environments in Chennai. The role requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of hands-on experience.

The candidate will handle L2/L3 production support, monitor DataPower appliances across environments, manage incidents, and participate in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on IBM DataPower administration and support.
• Experience in production environments with SLA commitments.
• Ability to work in 24x7 support environments and on-call rotations.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 support for IBM DataPower Gateway environments.
• Monitor and maintain DataPower appliances across production, UAT, and development.
• Troubleshoot and triage DataPower services and configurations.
• Perform configuration, deployment, and migration of DataPower services.
• Handle incident, problem, and change management activities.
• Perform root cause analysis for critical incidents.

• Support high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) configurations.
• Participate in on call support and production deployments.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Ability to work in 24x7 support environments.
• Experience handling critical production incidents.
• Team collaboration and customer focused approach.

Required Skills
