Job summary

Essity in Goa, India is seeking a Supply Service Officer to plan transports and distribution of Finished Goods, Mother Reels and Raw Material across the site and beyond, in the most efficient way in cooperation with the planning hub.

The role covers receipt and inspection of materials, posting GRN, dispensing materials for production, maintaining GMP-compliant warehouse records and stock, planning dispatches to third party manufacturers, supervising stores staff and interfacing with outsourcing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Master's required.
• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing unit.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• SAP knowledge is a must.

Responsibilities

• Plan transports and distribution of Finished Goods, Mother Reels and Raw Material for a site or sites in cooperation with the planning hub/department.
• Receipt of Raw and Packing material as per Purchase Order requirements.
• Inspection of material as per checklist and documentation.
• Posting GRN upon receipt and compliance with procedures.
• Dispensing of Raw Material and Packing material as per production requirements.
• Maintain all documentation and statutory records.
• Maintain humidity records in stores and stock accuracy.
• Plan dispatches to Third Party Manufacturers.
• Supervise workforce in the Stores and maintain GMP-compliant warehouse.
• Interface with outsourcing partners for external warehousing and transports.
• Contribute to KPI fulfilment for Supply Service.
• Identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions.
• Might handle customs clearance and may lead a team.

About the Role

Plan transports and distribution of Finished Goods, Mother Reels and Raw Material for a Site or more than one in the most efficient way in cooperation with the planning hub/department.

What You Will Do

• Receipt of Raw and Packing material as per requirement of Purchase Order.
• Inspection of material as per checklist & Inspection of material documentation.
• Entry of material or posting GRN on complying with above.
• Dispensing of Raw Material & Packing material as per production requirement.
• Maintaining of all Documentation and Statutory Records.
• Maintaining Humidity Records in Stores.
• Weekly & Monthly verification of Stocks.
• Planning dispatches of In-process Raw Material to Third Party Manufacturer.
• Management & Supervision of Workforce in the Stores.
• Maintaining the Warehouse as per GMP requirement with optimum Stocks & proper labelling.
• Maintaining Calibration Records of Weighing equipment’s.
• Handling Misc Jobs like preparation of petty Cash Voucher to external labour & Transporters, Gate Passes for Employees and Scrap Dealers.
• Reporting (potential) delivery problems to the planning hub/department
• Follow-up and fulfil customers’ orders of Finished Goods, Mother Reels and Raw Material.
• Complaint handling.
• Interface to outsourcing partners for external warehousing and transports making sure to make optimal use of transport capacity.
• Contribute to the fulfilment of KPI’s set for Supply Service.
• Identify within the area of responsibility improvement opportunities and set corrective actions (if necessary).
• Might deal with customs clearing.
• Might lead a team.

Who You Are

• Bachelor's degree or Masters
• 3+ years of experience in manufacturing unit
• SAP knowledge is must
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in internal settings.
• Requires ability to take initiative to solve problems.
