Job summary

Hector Beverages in Bengaluru is seeking a Planning Head to lead Supply Chain & Logistics planning. You will develop and execute short- and long-term supply plans aligned with demand forecasts, coordinating with manufacturing, procurement, and logistics to ensure capacity and material availability.

Qualifications

• 4–8 years of experience in supply planning, production planning and inventory planning.
• Experience in E-commerce/Quick Commerce preferred.
• Strong MS Excel skills and ERP knowledge (SAP, Oracle, APO, Kinaxis).
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute short-term and long-term supply plans aligned with demand forecasts
• Collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, and logistics teams to ensure capacity alignment and material availability
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to avoid stock-outs and minimize excess inventory
• Track supplier lead times, production constraints, and capacity limitations to ensure smooth operations
• Actively participate in S&OP / IBP processes and cross-functional planning reviews
• Identify potential supply risks and create proactive mitigation strategies
• Analyze variances between planned vs. actual supply, driving improvements and corrective actions
• Maintain accurate planning data and reports within ERP systems
• Drive and support continuous improvement initiatives in supply chain planning
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel; working knowledge of ERP tools such as SAP, Oracle, APO, or Kinaxis
• Solid understanding of inventory management and supply chain processes
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and tight deadlines
• Excellent communication, coordination, and collaboration skills
• High attention to detail with a proactive and ownership-driven mindset

Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Operations, Engineering, or Business
• Certifications such as APICS / CPIM are a strong advantage

Experience
