Job summary

Accenture in India is seeking a Supply Chain Operations Analyst based in Mumbai to support planning services. You will develop forecast models, analyze demand trends and interact with teams to improve visibility, quality and delivery.

The role requires 3-5 years in supply chain planning, knowledge of SAP, O9, SAP APO, Kinaxis, and BI tools like Power BI, Tableau and QlikView. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential; rotational shifts may apply.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain statistical forecast models using historical data, market trends and other demand drivers.
• Analyze historical sales patterns, seasonality and factors to understand demand behaviors.
• Manage SKU-Channel forecasts in the O9 system as part of IBP.
• Incorporate market intelligence, sales insights and new product plans into forecasting.
• Monitor forecast accuracy, identify variances and perform root cause analysis.
• Lead or participate in demand review meetings as part of S&OP.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations to align demand plans.
• Collect, clean and analyze large datasets related to sales, inventory and market conditions.
• Prepare and present key demand planning reports and KPIs.

What would you do?

Accenture is seeking a Supply Chain Operations Analyst to support various supply chain operations planning services for our customers. In this capacity, you will be based out of one of our delivery centers and will have frequent interaction with team members and customers in the execution of projects. These projects will help customers achieve significant value in the form of improved visibility, quality, delivery, and sales performance. Job Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain statistical forecast models using historical sales data, market trends, promotional plans, and other relevant demand drivers
• Analyze historical sales patterns, seasonality, and other factors to identify and understand demand behaviors.
• Manage the SKU-Channel forecasts in the O9 system for a Brand cluster as part of a monthly Integrated Business Planning process cycle
• Incorporate market intelligence, sales insights, and new product introduction plans into the forecasting process.
• Continuously monitor forecast accuracy, identify variances, and conduct root cause analysis to refine future forecasts.
• Lead or actively participate in demand review meetings as part of the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.
• Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations teams to gather input, communicate forecast assumptions, and achieve a consensus demand plan.
• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets related to sales, inventory, market conditions, and external factors.
• Prepare and present key demand planning reports and KPIs (e.g., forecast accuracy, bias, service levels). What are we looking for? Basic Qualifications:
• A Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Preferred Qualifications:
• Supply Chain Experience
• Industry Experience- FMCG/Beauty industry preferred
• Basic knowledge of ERPs like: SAP, and Planning Tools like: O9, SAP APO, Kinaxis.
• Advanced knowledge of analytical/Business Intelligence tools like Power BI, Tableau, QlikView
• Exposure to forecasting models a plus
• Exceptional multi-tasking skills

• Solid understanding of and experience with quantitative and qualitative analysis
• Proficiency with Excel
