Job summary

Candidate should have 3–5 years of experience in purchasing or supply chain management, with strong analytical skills and proficiency in SAP/Oracle and Excel. The role may involve rotational shifts and collaboration across internal teams and suppliers.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels to ensure product availability and minimize stockouts.
• Replenishment Planning: Develop and execute replenishment strategies based on sales trends and inventory performance.
• Supplier Relations: Collaborate with suppliers to manage order cycles, lead times, and delivery schedules.
• Order Management: Place purchase orders in line with demand forecasts and inventory levels.
• Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze sales data, stock levels, and supplier performance to inform replenishment strategies.
• Forecasting & Planning: Work with the demand planning team to review forecasts based on market trends.
• Cost Optimization: Align purchasing with budget targets and optimize costs while ensuring quality.
• Problem-Solving: Address and resolve supply chain disruptions and inventory discrepancies.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with logistics, warehouse, and sales teams.

It involves managing inventory, coordinating logistics, and ensuring timely delivery to meet customer expectations. The goal is to ensure that orders are accurately and promptly fulfilled. Plan the inventory or capacity that will be used to fulfill customer orders and determine transportation or delivery of the product through the supply chain.
